My diverse 26 year career and "back-to-the-basics" disciplines has allowed me to be successful in any manufacturing arena. I focus on the client's desired state versus current state and provide them a gap analysis and execution.
Having worked in various manufacturing arenas has given me thorough knowledge of the inner workings of a manufacturing environment. Launching two facilities has given me an opportunity to hone skills in process and policy development. I take a lot of pride in my track-record of developing strong talent at all levels of an organization.
I enjoy working with high-level management to identify and resolve performance issues. The experiences during my career provides me the background to successfully engage in various manufacturing environments.
In my 25 year career, I've managed Global Program Quality across 33 countries. I've successfully lead teams in six different plants to successfully recover from controlled shipping in the areas of capacity, quality, logistics and/or programs.
Matt specializes in production systems, improved operational performance, reducing cost of goods sold, quality improvement, TPM, headcount optimization, ERP management, materials management and lean implementations.
Hands on Team execution leadership across functions maintaining positive sustainable customer performance metrics throughout the organization. Customer problem resolution and negotiations assistance. Training of lean operational methods. Serving the global automotive, aerospace and manufacturing sector industries.

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is my personal recommendation for Tom Bondy. For the past nineteen months I have worked directly with Tom since he is the president of one of my primary suppliers for Volkswagen Group of America. Tom is a methodical, results-oriented leader whom I found to be pleasant to work with and always wanted what was best for all parties involved – to provide quality parts in the correct time and manner to VW Group of America.
Before Tom’s tenure began at my supplier, we had constant quality and supply issues resulting in a brief work-stoppage affecting over two thousand employees in our main assembly plant. Upon his arrival, Tom immediately took charge to review the root causes of the problems in a rational, step-by-step manner and to implement effective countermeasures in short timeframes. Tom not only presented creative ideas to me and my team, but was also open to our ideas and presented no roadblocks to potential successful countermeasures. In short order, the supply-chain and quality issues to my plant were virtually eliminated.
Tom is an excellent motivator and a take-charge person who is able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. I personally saw the benefits of Tom’s leadership as he was able to motivate his team in ways such as direct problem-solving and remaining on the tasks at hand. His techniques paid off as dramatic improvements were realized not only to the financial situation of his company, but as well as the delivery and scrap rates directly to our facility.
I also saw Tom’s impartial and unbiased leadership abilities. He listened to all team members’ ideas equally and treated everyone as an equal member of the organization. No one’s ideas were seen as trivial or inconsequential if they provided a benefit to the organization’s goals.
I highly recommend Tom for a top leadership position. He is an excellent leader and motivator and would make a great asset to any organization.
Sincerely,
Stephen C. Barnes
Tom and his team stepped in to help me with a distressed situation and turned a complete train wreck into a successful outcome. I recommend SIS for your operational improvement needs especially in distressed environments (LinkedIn, 2018).
